The windows depicted incorporate traditionally carved camphor wood panels. The timber doors with bronze handles are painted red to invite good luck and happiness.

The green roof reflects the importance of the building and, therefore, its owner.

I optimised my Potenza S001 Tyre to make a 450 polygon/900 triangle version. In this instance the inner lining was removed, as this would not be seen when it is fitted on an alloy wheel.

This is my version of a katar fitted with a circular blade (total: 148 polygons/284 triangles).

Traditionally, a katar would have a short, wide, triangular blade and a steel handle which is made up of two parallel bars. In my version, I have a single grip handle which facilitates a circular blade honed to a sharp edge around the perimeter. This weapon could be used in close-range combat.

This is my version of a Damascus sword (total: 122 polygons/250 triangles).

These swords are characterized by distinctive patterns of mottling reminiscent of flowing water. Such blades, made of wootz steel, were reputed to be not only tough and resistant to shattering, but capable of being honed to a sharp and resilient edge. Developed about 1300 A.D, these Syrian–made Damascus swords quickly became highly sought after.

I created this low-poly version of my original katana (91 polygons/248 triangles) in order to demonstrate my ability to produced optimised models for use as gaming assets. The wireframe below illustrates simple construction whilst producing an object of complex appearence.

I modelled this tyre specifically for my ‘work-in-progress’ Ferrari 458 Italia, as Bridgestone was chosen to supply its Potenza S001 high-performance sport tyre, which was developed to match the high-level handling, control and safety requirements of the world’s most powerful sports cars. The model was enhanced through the use of bump-mapping for the tread and specification data.

This is a simple zip slider that I modelled for use in clothing or other circumstances where a zip fastener may be needed.

Shown here is the design stage of a Ferrari 458 Italia model that I am currently working on. I have used planear modelling to make separate sections of the car, generalising the shapes and dimensions of each part before I add greater detail (a similar method was used in the creation of my character). Once this stage is completed, I plan to combine the panels, add and refine the exterior detail, add components such as lights, wing mirrors etc and apply textures and colours together with appropriate lighting. The interior detail will be added, as will the capability to open the doors so the former can be viewed. The wheels and Potenza S001 tyre will be modelled independently, as front and back brake assemblies differ.
